Addressable Fire Systems
R.A.S. Addressable fire systems can be installed in any location but are ideal solutions for medium to large sized premises. Addressable Fire systems consist of multiple zones, each containing several detectors with an individual address. This makes it possible to identify the exact location of a fire alarm activation, which reduces alarm response time as the system can indicate exactly where the incident has occurred. These systems can be expanded and interconnected via network connections to provide cover over very large sites such as hospitals, universities and large administration buildings.
Addressable systems are suitable for sites where there are multiple buildings but where a single fire strategy is required for the entire site. Addressable systems can be interconnected to provide other functionality, such as releasing of Access Control systems in the event of a fire, monitoring of critical equipment and shutdown of extraction and other systems. They can also control and monitor suppression systems in server rooms or areas where there is a high fire risk.
R.A.S. Fire Systems are happy to liaise with the client in relation to all of their fire system requirements and welcomes opportunities to provide recommendations for installation and maintenance of new and existing fire systems.
